Abuse - Block Clearance Therapy

What is Abuse?

Abuse can come in many forms. It can be physical abuse, sexual abuse, emotional abuse, psychological abuse, or spiritual abuse. All forms of abuse are rooted in powerlessness and a disconnection to trust.

An abuser is someone who has experienced powerlessness within their own life. This powerlessness disconnects them from their own power, which in turn patterns a belief system that the only way to be powerful is to take power from someone else that they perceive to be weaker. Abuse is patterned, and is not genetic, which means we can always do something about it with the right help. Types of abusers include loving abusers, aggressive abusers and manipulative abusers.

An abused individual is someone who has also experienced powerlessness and has disconnected from their own power, instead patterning into the belief system that the safest way to survive is to give in to someone else’s power. This belief of never having power switches on an energetic ‘victim light’ which an abuser can sense, and is therefore attracted to.

People can switch roles in different situations, for example, someone can be an abuser at work, and at home they can be the abused, and vice versa.

The main category of abuse falls under emotional abuse, often in childhood where parents manipulate children. Examples of psychological abuse include gaslighting, narcissism and coercive control. An example of someone suffering spiritual abuse can be through religion e.g. if someone doesn’t do something, they will be punished. â€‹

Symptoms of abuse can include:

Weight loss or gain

OCD behaviours e.g. excessive cleaning of the self

Turning to alcohol, drugs, or excessive exercise

Self-destructing behaviours

Self-harming

Promiscuity

How Block Clearance Therapy can help

In Block Clearance Therapy we understand how much of an impact abuse can have on an individual, no matter whether the individual believes it was a more serious case of abuse or not. BCT creates an environment of safety where an individual feels, in some cases for the first time in a long time, a level of trust which inspires honesty. The truth is that everything that we experience within our own life is important and shouldn’t be played down or neglected, because we are all important. The same goes for experiencing abuse, and this is the first step in acknowledging that if something has been weighing on your mind during your life, it is not silly to discuss it or express it should you wish to.

Block Clearance Therapy takes a different approach to most therapies. We look to find the emotional cause associated with abuse, in this case, powerlessness and disconnection to trust, and see where it comes from within your subconscious mind and your primary patterning (within the womb to 5 years old). By understanding where this powerlessness and subsequent disconnection to trust has been experienced, we can look to release the blocks which have been created, tackling the issue directly with a view to permanent change.

Through BCT you will see and understand what caused the abuse you have experienced. Your subconscious will direct us to what needs to be seen, understood and released, to allow you to move forward on your unique journey. Therefore, some people may only need one session on this, whilst others may require more sessions. The individual’s subconscious directs us to what will best serve them.

Positive affirmations tailored to your session will be provided to reinforce the releasing of the block you have cleared, allowing you to remind your subconscious daily that this is a pattern which no longer serves you, and instead, you want to replace this old negative pattern with a positive one instead.

BCT is for those who want to change their negative patterns at a deep level within their subconscious and experience something different to most therapies - if you would like to transform your life please book here.
